We are a licensed auto dealer and specialty vehicle consignor located in the Denver area.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

We’re located in Denver, in the Golden Triangle neighborhood, at 136 W 12th Ave, 80204

HOW IS A CULT CAR DIFFERENT FROM A COLLECTOR CAR?

Cult cars are defined by the limited quantities in which they are produced. Collector cars may also represent limited production models, but it is not a defining characteristic. Cult cars, unlike collector cars, do no necessarily appreciate in value – just because something is rare doesn’t necessarily make it more valuable. Examples of Cult Cars include the likes of the Ford Mustang Cobra, Volvo 850R, Mercedes AMG and BMW M cars just to name a few.

ARE YOU A LICENSED DEALER?

Yes we’re a licensed and bonded Colorado Auto dealer.

WHAT TYPES OF CARS DO YOU CONSIGN?

We serve a niche market of limited production and specially modified autos and the enthusiasts who drive them.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPORATION?

Friday 9:00 – 1:00, Saturday from 9:00 – 6:00, Sunday 9:00 – 12:00 (only available to Sellers), Monday 9:00 – 1:00.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS?

We’re the new kid on the block and recently opened our doors to cult car enthusiasts in 2018.

ARE YOU OPEN ON SNOW DAYS?

We’re open by appointment only during inclement weather. We’re always available by phone and email but will not provide test drives if there is a reasonable chance of snow or hail. If you’ve scheduled a test drive please check with us first if you have any concerns about weather.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO IMPORT A VEHICLE?

Finding the right vehicle to match your specifications can take time and we inspect every vehicle before it ships. Plan on 8-12 weeks from the time we start to when your vehicle passes through customs and arrives in Denver.

DO YOU OFFER FINANCING?

At this time we’re not offering financing.

AS A CONSIGNOR AM I REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION?

Yes, and it’s included in the price. You’re more likely to net a higher sales price for your car and it makes the negotiations go smoothly.

Selling

WHAT TYPES OF CARS DO YOU CONSIGN?

Limited production, tastefully modified, and other specialty vehicles with a cult following. Examples include, BMW M cars, Volvo R series, Audi S and RS models, Mopar, Shelby, AMG and many others.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Retain full use of your vehicle while we market it to an audience of enthusiasts. Start by completing the on-line application, then join us Sunday morning for a VIP owners-only event called Pebble Beach, where you’re car will get detailed and professionally photographed. Once your car is on our website perspective buyers can schedule a one hour time slot for the upcoming Saturday sale. We’ll take buyers on test drives, and negotiate the deal to get you the best price for your car.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

2 packages are available starting at $349.00 and include professional photography, a mandatory pre-purchase inspection and marketing. Upon completion of the sale we charge an additional 6% of the sale price. These rates are non-negotiable.

CAN I DECLINE A SALE IF I DON'T LIKE THE PRICE?

Yes, you’re in the drivers seat. Once an offer is received we’ll call or text and you can accept, reject or provide a counter offer. Once the sale is complete you’ll have 7 days to deliver the title and collect payment.

HOW DO YOU MARKET THE VEHICLE?

We advertise through local, national and international marketing channels. Some of the sites we use: Craigslist, Autotrader, Hemmings, Ebay, cars.com and many other mark specific websites, facebook user groups and through our Instagram account.

DO YOU HANDLE LOGISTICS FOR OUT OF STATE BUYERS?

Yes we handle shipping and logistics to make the experience of selling to out of state buyers simple and straightforward.

Buying

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Once a test drive has been scheduled Sellers receive notification to bring their car to the upcoming Saturday sale. If a vehicle doesn’t sell they must return to pick it up.

IF I DRIVE THE CAR ON SATURDAY BUT AM NOT READY TO BUY, CAN WE WORK OUT A DEAL ANOTHER DAY?

Consigned vehicles are only available for purchase on Saturday. We don't store vehicles on-site, which keeps our operational costs low enabling us to offer superior pricing on consignment services.

CAN I SEE A VEHICLE ON ANOTHER DAY BESIDES SATURDAY?

As a Buyer of collectible cars you already know what a hassle it is to coordinate with multiple sellers; that’s why it’s easier to schedule one day a week to see multiple cars all at the same location. Stop driving across town to meet with individual sellers and spend your time behind the wheel driving the cars you love!

CAN I PUT A DEPOSIT ON THE VEHICLE AND PURCHASE IT LATER?

Yes, deposits can be used to hold vehicles for sales at a later date. Deposits are non-refundable. Please speak with an associate to learn more.

TELL ME ABOUT YOUR PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTIONS

We want you to buy with confidence, that is why all vehicles sold through Cult Cars get a PPI (pre-purchase inspection) before they're available for sale.

DO YOU OFFER FINANCING?

At this time we do not offer financing.

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GO DIRECTLY TO THE SELLER?

Our Consignment Sales Agreement requires Sellers to direct all communication through us.

WHY DO YOU ASK TO SEE A LETTER OF CREDIT BEFORE A TEST DRIVE?

Depending on a vehicle’s value and/or performance specifications you may be required to provide evidence of financial eligibility before you can test drive. Cash buyers may be required to provide proof of funds or bankers note satisfying eligibility for the purchase.

WHAT IF I WANT MY OWN MECHANIC TO LOOK OVER THE CAR?

Special arrangements can be made. Please consult with one of our staff members to coordinate.

WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE?

Electronic funds transfer including Venmo and Paypal, wire transfer, or a cashiers check.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE VEHICLE IS DAMAGED?

If you drive recklessly and/or if you've already been asked to change your behavior and you continue to exhibit callousness behind the wheel, the test drive will be ended and you may be liable for any damage sustained to the vehicle.
